Let’s see - yesterday... Feral Golden Ace, Pumphouse Thunderbolt, Boogoop, Bridge Roads Summer IPA all at Pumphouse.
Then Taphouse, pints of Bridge Road Saison, Stone and Wood Jasper, one other that was anonymous, Haaaaaanbrget(!) Smoked beer, then aNogne O porter.

If only I had something to eat among that lot I might have felt a little better today…..

Been drinking my new APA and Keg-Hopped Best Bitter quite a bit. Also been enjoying Green Flash Rayon Vert, Palate Wrecker and all of the Heretic beers! Evil Twin was obscenely good, and Evil Cousin was exactly my kind of IPA.

Stumbled upon 6 bottles of Quiet American at a local BWS I hardly ever frequent. Needless to say I grabbed them all especially as they were cheaper than the LCPA.

Tonight I had 2 bottles of Pepperberry Black IPA, 1 of Lindeman's Gueuze Cuvee Renee, and 2 bottles of Bigfoot.

Blend Lindemans Gueuze Cuvee Rene with the standard Gueuze, and you will get the best gueuze.

    It is called LUKIE's Gueuze.

    In honour of me.

Cause I did it first

Tonight, I had De Cam Oude Gueuze (delicious), Boon Oude Gueuze (also delicious, surprisingly, since I didn't enjoy this at all last time I had it, and I really dislike Mariage Parfait), and am about to open a Cantillon Gueuze, since it is the old staple.

interesting... i have a scoresheet from a not-so-long-ago blind lambic tasting that says Luke P rates mariage parfait above cantillon bio gueze, boon oude gueze, oud beersel oude gueze... any idea who this Luke P might be?

just kidding. can't believe you don't like the parfait though... too drinkable i.e. needs more sour?

I don't like the Marriage Parfait Gueuze much either. Way too malty and sweet (probably because it's a higher ABV). The Kriek is real good though, although I don't think it's available over here legitimately.

Oh by the way the Pepperberry is really starting to come through now in Gypsy, tastes really quite bitter.

I remember that. I refuse to believe it though. It is a conspiracy against my by the New Gueuze Order.

Drank four pints of Feral Watermelon Warhead (best beer in Australia, and nothing even comes close... sorry Feral Rye IPA).

And will open a Tilquin Gueuze soon, as it is my favourite gueuze.
