Hey, Vegas! Let's grab a beer!

Not to completely invade this thread but, I went to UNLV (moved from and back to CO) and Khoury's was the best store in town. In fact I lived right by it on Eastern (if it is still there). Am I understanding they now have taps there?! Next time I am in town I am there.

 

Yup, still on Eastern and they have about 10 rotating beers on tap now.

 

Coming in to town tonight as well. I'd join in on a little beer get together this weekend.

 

Sounds good. Just hit up Khourys. They had Firestone Walker Agrestic, American wild ale aged in red wine barrels on tap.

I would have gone but common sense took precedence over what my heart wanted. Came home from work and had a Firestone Pils followed by a bottle of Stone Vertical 12. Watched the neighbor's fireworks, during which time it started raining HEAVILY and continued to rain. Couple that with the fact I live in just about the furthest distance from Aces on Nellis possible and the fact that there were probably a bunch of Fourth of July drunks on the road (technically I would have been one of them after the beers I had) at that time along with various police checkpoints here and there and ... well, like I said, I really wanted to go but common sense said I'd better not.

I'll try to check in here today when possible and see what Todd and Candace's plans are for today if they post them. Hopefully I can make it at some point to have a beer or two with them before they had back home. Cheers!
