I do believe that your distributor must not like you guys... Sacto seems to be the red headed step child of beer distro in CA and Roseville seems to be the red headed step child to the red headed step child, which sucks because I hate having to drive all over the city to get stuff.

The only reason I like working in Sac is because I can head over to Arden or jam out to Davis if early enough. It is weird how the Roseville store can get some stuff so late (if ever) though, even when stores in the same area have had it and sold out already. I'm not blaming the store just wondering why?

Distribution varies by county. Maybe Placer is just not as important...

Yeah I understand that but why do stores within the same distribution area (ie Bevmo Douglas) get certain limited releases before TW. ? The Arden store just needs to double up their orders and ship across town

I disagree, Placer County is the most important because I live there... The distributors just haven't realized it yet

Yea, we don't get shelton brothers, we have lime ventures, which is the same-ish. and the sacramento area as a whole just takes a backseat to the bay area and LA/SD area. I mean, take Indian Wells for instance. While not a highly rated brewery, it is available in southern california, and in reno. The trucks literally drive up 80, through sacramento on their way to nevada. Its just shit we have to deal with :slight_frown:

50/50 is one drive I don't mind making. LOL. They can have their distribution, we get the events.

Just picked up some Simtra from Total Wine Roseville tonight for 8.99. They also had some Port Anny edition DIPA.

and here I thought I wasn't going to be buying any beer this month...

did you ask if they got Parabola in?

I guess the next thing I might be looking for is Fruet and Trade Winds. I seriously need therapy...

since there's a couple guys that work at total wine here how is it that Roseville didn't get any Jolly Pumpkin Madrugada Obscura but Sac did?

Depends on the vendor that carries that, but Sac has a couple distributors that are different than placer county. I'll look into it and see what we can do. And yes, we got Simtra in finally, I think something like 6 cases. And no parabola yet, but according to our distributors, we will have it as soon as they get it in.

Damn, I got my Parabola fix 2 weeks ago! Paco at Natomas BevMo helped out a lot! Is Sac/Roseville planning on getting more Bruery beers? If so, yummmmmmm!

I grabbed a bottle while I was busy driving all over town looking for oddities but it just struck me as odd.

And you got kinda lucky because the Bevmos in Natomas and Arden both sold out of Parabola in three hours...

They sold out in hours but the Whole Foods Arden had a shelf full that Saturday when I went there, wierd.

Whenever they start distributing them. They only make like 4 beers and the seasonals that sees distro.
