    Ok, I'm finally back from vacation and can post again on a regular basis. Had a lot of catching up to do in this thread.

    To start, Bermuda was awesome but definitely a different experience the second time around with little kids in tow. Got to visit the only brewery in Bermuda. Decent beers but makes me want to look into immigration policy and see if I can move out there to give it some competition. Outside of the typical BMC crap, that was the only beer I could get out there and it was only distro'd to one side of the island. WTF. Seriously, anyone interested in looking into this idea? (@TheBeerAlmanac)

    Catching up with BiaB, we're up to 18 participants. Here's who is in so far:

    @Haywire
    @emottram
    @ThreeFishes
    @Roger85
    @TastyDelicousness
    @Marti403
    @CTJman
    @Indytruks138
    @vange
    @blackcloud
    @IPAFan521
    @Dicers
    @zekeman17
    @Houser
    @Brewzma
    @Theortiz01
    @Hoptimus-Prime
    @Lehighace06

    As far as rules go, as mentioned previously, it's still SWTFYW but to keep some of the surprise going, we'll do 8 uncovered bottles and 4 covered bottles. Take up to 10 bottles of any type and replace with WTFYW. Extras and tits allowed. That's about it in a nutshell. Depending on how many people sign up, this may be two boxes traveling at same time but we'll see.

    I'd die for some MBCP or More Mora. Both were amazing.

    Glad it worked out for you. It's about a 3 hour round trip for me, but I make the trek down there a couple times a year.

    @RayOhioFelton thank you for the comments. I agree that you can't dwell on problems. You are right and that was partially the reason for the post. I can laugh at myself and most of what life throws at me. It was a good way to blow off steam. The timing of what happened last night just seemed so comical that I wanted to share it with everyone here, because I thought people could identify with it. Not finding KBS last night certainly isn't a problem in the grand scheme of things. Sometimes your just need to shake your head and laugh. Hopefully like what @Dicers did with his broken bottle of Assassin (see I am reading the posts! :wink:).

    And to @jshusc @end_27 @zekeman17 @TastyDelicousness and @RayOhioFelton thank you for your generous offer. It is great to see so many giving people, but please take no offense when I don't send you my info. It wasn't why I posted and if I needed some help getting some KBS I would honestly ask for it. The hunt is half the fun!! To offer up like you did and I know others here thought of doing speaks very well for all of you. Take that as the compliment it is intended to be. :grinning:

    You guys are good people

    HOW DARE YOU MAKE ME DRINK MY OWN KBS???

    If you change your mind, or hell, just want to trade for KBS/Doughnut break, let me know.

    Cheers!

    I'll be down in Boca in late December (annual family gathering). If there are any bottles available, I'll try to snag 'em. Last year it was just growler fills (and few options available at that).

    I'm back after a fun trek through New England. I was with the wife, then with the wife and kids, so I didn't push all the brewery visits I would have normally. Also, there were space issues, as we were transporting two adults, two children and one grandmother on the last let, so I had to be judicious. Still, I managed to taste some incredible beers in Montpelier, Portland, Freeport and elsewhere.

    Picked up some random fun in Montpelier and the two Boulevards in Worcester (5 drained Headys not pictured):

    Tasters at Allagash were of course excellent, and Foundation Brewing across the street shows tremendous potential. There was so much great stuff at Allagash, but I settled for what I'd never had:

    Hit up Oxbow with some buddies. They're making some ridiculous beer out there. You could essentially drink all you wanted there from the tap lines, then bring home a few bottles:

    We were staying in Freeport, so after I grabbed some crash pads at "The Bean," I gathered up some MBC to share with my hosts:

    First beer trek of the summer is over. Next up: Al's Pizza Boy and who knows what in Washington DC!
