I think it was $30. I had a Nooner B3 and Rare Dos (infected). I loved the Nooner. Still one of the best beers i've had to this day. Definitely in the top 5.

If I came across that I would probably get pissed at that price, and then pay it :slight_frown:

What he^ said. My 32oz BCBB was around $25, a full 64oz would have been pushing near $50 after tax.

My local shop, BCBS 19.95 for a 32 oz fill. Not the most expensive I see by looking at this thread. But the most expensive per oz I've personally paid on a growler fill

Only growlers I generally get filled are at Tired Hands, around $10+$5 for glass (if you don't bring one) for a 32oz, worth every penny.

I think the most I've ever paid was around $18 for FBS. I'd have a hard time spending much more than $20 for a growler. I know some beers are expensive, but I personally wouldn't want to pay that much.

Expo was less when they did fills. Closer to 20, but I don't remember exactly as the sticker shock wasn't as great as the BBA Token.

Alpine is actually really good about pricing fills. They could go a lot higher. Nelson/Duet ends up only being something like 14$ for 64 oz.

Rosie's Old Ale at Barley John's in MN - $104 for 64oz. It's $9 for a 5oz pour and definitely worth a few glasses, but I don't know about the growler.

Our Total Wine sold BCBS for $18 a 4-pack. Now they have it on tap and it's $21 for 32 oz and $40 for 64 oz. I think the main reason they do it is because a lot of people are naive. They think they're getting a JUG or a gallon of beer. When in reality it equals to roughly 5 1/2 beers. I only know of one place around here that does 128 oz (gallon) growlers. But 750 mL and smaller "growlers" crack me up. Those are just bottles. Why not just bottles your beer then.

I once had the privilege of having a 64oz growler of Prairie Bible Belt x2 Chocolate and a 32oz growler of Atrial Rubicite conditioned with honey truffle. There was no charge to me. I was just at the right spot at the correct time.

I work part-part time at a NC growler filling stations. I almost refuse to purchase beer there because the prices are so exorbitant. Here's a quick example:
$45 for 64oz fill of De Brabandere Grande Cru. Southern Tier Mokah is the same price.
I haven't heard many people complain about the price but damn people do the math.
It may not help that NC recently (July/Aug 2013) allowed growler filling stations.Word is that Total Wines will start doing this soon.

Our Total Wines have been doing it for a while now. And now the have this high-tech filling station. You get 2 shots of CO2 in it. One before filling and another after. You can keep it for a month and it'll be good. I did it with Allagash FOUR.
