contrary to what some BA folks will tell you, there ARE still MC bottles floating around. CBX put some on teh shelf this week, at least one place on DI that has bottles, and restaurants around town still have bottles available.

 

Westbrook should consider brewing another batch of Orange Bliss and put it in Marnier barrels.

 

I actually think I like Orange Bliss more than Mexican Cake. Wish I would have stocked up on some while it was sitting on the shelves.

 

It's weird, I hated Orange Bliss. I expected the orange to take over more than the bitter chocolate, and got the exact opposite.

But...bring back Gozu please, now and forever, thanks!

Anyone got deets on how the release goes down for the BA Mexican Cake? I've got some friends who live in town, and may see if any of them might be able to go by the brewery to pick some up for me. Do they release all the variants at once or each on a specific day? Are there huge lines? Any info would be much appreciated

@aleckpa Which WW do you have? I've got 1 MC I might be willing to part with...

 

I believe this will only be the second BA release for MC so it's tough to say what it will be like. I know the regular release this year was significantly busier than the previous year and exeeded WB's expectations i.e. shit sold out in 1hr 15min. I can only imagine the BA release will be an absolute SHIT SHOW. That being said, my offer still stands to anyone who can score me some - any CO I get for you and naming rights to my first born.

Had the Mexican Cake w/ Cherries, badass. It was like those chocolate covered cherries you get for Christmas, but better. I wanted a lot, but I only had an 8oz glass, so others could enjoy it.

 

Yeah, that one sounds worthy of bottling, I told them the same on FB.

 

It seriously is. I literally sat and smelled the last of it in my glass for 5 minutes. Each time I swirled it in the glass, released a bouquet of chocolate, cinnamon, and cherries.
