On a cool summer night some friends came over Saturday to clean the cellar a bit and watch the UFC fight. All were well received by the crowd of various levels of beer drinkers but the DB Huna and Abraxas are on another level.

At first glance I thought this was your summer sixer (+1) and I was both shocked and awed.

If I had organized a BIF and was over a month late sending to my target (which would never happen), this is the kind of box I would send to try to rectify any loss in Beer Karma I had my way...*hint hint* you know who you are...

Still haven't had Mexican Cake and it has become a bigger want as I've realized I really like some of the spicy stouts (Bible Belt and that Azazel I included in the first round for example). That's a fantastic lineup.

That is a pretty awesome lineup, a buddy of mine has a Huna (regular I think) and I have a Mexi Cake and while we might not crack them on the same day, we've agreed to share each with the other. Really looking forward to both.

My 6er from @_RL_ Awesome box, all wants/should have been wants.

Imperial Biscotti Break - Love this beer, the top was dented so I cracked as soon as I chilled it. So damn good.

2x Hoponius Union - Love this, only had once at a share. Perfect summer beer

WWS - Been a want since I got into beer, excited to finally try it!

Bcbs - Always could use more of this, love that he included one.

Pt5 - Want, having tried the BB version at a share, it'll be nice to try this.

Thanks again @_RL_ this is a fantastic box. Already started enjoying it on this beautiful Friday.

well at least 2 of them fit the theme... #summerbeerfail

wish I knew this 2 weeks ago, I'd have brought some to HOU... you'll definitely enjoy the Pt5, I've never had the BBPt5 but even without a barrel it's a damn good stout.

I absolutely agree, I am extremely content.

No worries! The Tired hands was awesome, plus you let me keep the growler. If you ever need any tx beers just let me know!

Yeah man, I'm glad you get some use out of it, I love their logo and there's nothing better than a 32oz swingtop for growlers (I'd rather get 2 32oz than 1 64oz, and screwtops are terrible).

I definitely will, some Live Oak Hef or Yellow Rose might be in order once the cravings get too bad  Besides those, I think I managed to take back all of Texas in those 12-shippers... speaking of, I've got some beer **** of my Houston haul if anyone's interested...

Enjoy the WWS however you want, but I recommend it with some age on it. It's pretty boozy so young (I think that is a December 2013 bottling). One of the liquor store owners around here recommends WWS with 5 years age. I've never done that but thought I would pass along the advice.

And pt5th is my favorite non-BA stout. So so so good.

Can't wait to try the pt5th. I always feel the need to try a beer for the 1st time fresh to have an understanding what I'm getting myself into. If it's delicuous, I'll have to post an ISO for more and age them. You hit the nail on the head with your box. It was perfect for what I enjoy.
