Yeah, all of the thumbprints hang around at Woodman's. There's still a bunch of Imperial Weizen lingering at the Waukesha Woodman's.

Just wanted to post that the Black Husky Howler I'm drinking is not that great and was pretty expensive, not sure about the recommendations for it. If it was good at first it is boozy and underwhelming at this stage and I got it form the cooler. Got the berliner weisse instead of the scream though cause its being pulled.

Are all of the Scream IIPA bottle dated 1484? Has anyone seen any other dates?

Julian dating- first three are the Julian date, last number indicates the 4 in 2014. So you're looking at day 164, it would be June 12, 2014. Still nice and fresh. I think this is a IIPA that will stay drinkable for 2-3 months.

There is also a duplicate listing for Berliner Weiss. I imagine if enough of us use the Update function to report the duplicate listing, the mods will actually merge them.

Yep. FWIW I reported both duplicate listings, hopefully more people do their part to make things right

After going through a couple of 4-packs of Scream I must say I prefer IIPA. Scream tastes almost formulaic to me compared to IIPA which had such a unique flavor profile. Hopefully Dan will pull it from retirement some day soon.

I felt like Scream was more in line with a IIPA profile than IIPA was- that might be what you mean by formulaic? IIPA was basically an Imperial Pale Ale, kind of like Howler w/o the honey and with a more complex hop bill.

The difference is I can drive down the street and get Scream - I can't easily obtain any of the others you mention. I don't try to be a NG fanboy at all, but I'll glady puff out my chest and defend this superb IIPA to the ends of the earth...btw I do want some of every other one you mentioned :stuck_out_tongue:

Where did you get the Heady? I also am really digging the Bunny Green Toe and hope they keep brewing it for awhile.

A buddy out East. I'll let you know next time I get some, I'm sure I can spare a can or two.

Hey. Got some Scream- 1644 on Sunday. Anybody have a guess at the ABV, since it's not listed anywhere? My complete GUESS, after having 4 in a row would be 8-ish.

I thought I saw it listed as 9.1%....thought is was on the label...but may have seen it elsewhere.

I was told 9% by someone that works at the brewery - I guess I would count him as a reputable source :grinning:
