Heading to Argentina...

    Live in Michigan and wondering if anyone there is looking for some craft beer. I have not fully packed and don't know how much room I will have. I am willing to bring some beer in exchange for some beer at a local brewery, your choice. Let me know what style you prefer. I will be leaving on Monday 7-13. Vamos Argentina!!!

    While I was there the extent of craft seemed to be Quilmes Boch. Probably why you haven't received much of a response.

    @metter98 (a very experienced BA and good friend of mine) is in Argentina right now and have been rating/reviewing beers while on his visit - looks like Buller Brewing Co. seems to get the best ratings from him

    I had some bottled beers here in Argentina—practically the entire Quiles lineup—but they weren't anything special. I was mostly in Mendoza (wine country) so there wasn't a big beer selection there. I was briefly in Buenos Aires and stopped at the Buller brewery by Recoleta Cemetery; their beers were rather good. I didn't have time to try Antares in Palermo.

    When we went a couple of years ago we visited a cool bottle shop/bar in the Palermo Soho area of Buenos Aires. I believe the name was Bodega Cervecera but I could be wrong. Also remember a decent (large) brewpub a block or 2 away on opposite side of street.

    Buller Brewpub was also good in the Recoleta area.

    Stay away from Quilmes!!!
    Try Antares, Otro Mundo, Berlina, Epulafquen.

    I live in General Roca, Río Negro (Patagonia). The best craft´s beers are from my region.
