I'd second that. Love that sourjim broke out a 3L of Feral One. Even if I hated BW (which I don't), this would've been 100% worth it.

Dovetailing off of this...I can't say enough about the crew running the release today also. They were top notch; from the people at check in, the people pouring, people at check-out, and guys like SourJim. What a nice and helpful team. Thanks!

Great event! First time at a Barrelworks release (only my second time there).

Top notch event from them. It was great that Jim and Jeffers were hanging out as well. I think I drank Zinskin the most. Apparently a wine/grape beer is coming as well. If they are bottling that batch of Agrestic they had on draft then I'll be happy.

I unfortunately missed out on the 3L though.

Yeah, there's not a bad thing I could say about that event. So well run and worth every penny spent for Bretta Weisse, which was tasting really solid.

I had dropped my bottle pick up card some time along the way and I was freaking out when I realized it when going for the bottles, but sure enough someone turned in one that fell and there was no questions asked or hard time given. I mean, that was really great both of the person who found it (not keeping it for themselves for an extra 4 bottles) and just shows how great the customer service is at FW.

I would be pretty pleased if this is how they handled the releases from now on.

I was there today, it sold out but Bretta Weiss was still there with a 12 bottle limit.

And, FWIW, I was at the brewery store in Paso today around 5pm and there was no Bretta Weiss yet.

Popped a bottle of Bretta Weisse today. Best I've had it. Bottled sours are always better than draft.

I’m A) Annoyed at myself for not having bought more Bretta Weisse after drinking the bottle today, and B) thrilled I can probably buy more when I’m up at Barrelworks next Saturday! :grinning:

Yeah, real glad I grabbed a couple of extra bottles. I really liked it.

Really great event overall. Had a whole bunch of ZinSkin. I'll definitely be going to the next release.

First one I tried since it was right at the entrance. Awesome stuff; can't wait for a possible bottling.

    It went something like this:
Hello, can I have some Foeder #2?
Hi, let me try the Zinskin please.
Can I have some more of the Zinskin please?
Man, that Foeder #2 was really good, let me have some more of that please. And on and on....

The Foeder #2 was the base beer for krieky bones aged in port barrels.. easily my favorite of the FW pours. Best event i've been to. So organized and everything was top notch.

My friend found a bottle pick up card during the first session in the room where they had the DDBA. She turned it in to the young lady who was working the bar. Is it possible that one was yours?

My thanks to your friend. It must have been at the DDBA room since I was a bit frazzled and had all my stuff all over the table at that moment.

I will be going to the Barrelworks next month around the 16th. Will they have any bottled sours to purchase?

Only thing left is Lil Opal, and that may not last a month. Feral One, Bretta Rose and Krieky Bones are all gone.
