This is a damn good beer. I had quite a few of these while I was visiting OR a few weeks back. I brought a few back with me too and a pretty well known brewer friend was very impressed with it. You guys should be crushing this as long as it lasts because we don't have a canned IPA in this beer's stratosphere around CA.

Got 2 at The Bier Stein last week. They said they probably won't get anymore in, but I figured rather than being a d-bag and buying it all up, I should leave some for the next guy. Hopefully, someone that hadn't had it before, got to try it. Very solid beer.

Picked some up at the co-op on the Palouse. Dang good, I might clear them out tomorrow.

I believe this will be in production until September. I sure hope so. Tons of it at belmont station, on sale even. It was the star ipa at the bbq last night.

If this is true, I'm ecstatic. Went through a 4 pack of the 7/1 canning pretty quickly, picked up a 4-pack of the 7/8 canning at Bottleworks today.

I am super stoked I saw this thread.... At first, I saw the new cans in the cooler and didn't give it too much thought, but this new version is a monster.

Going camping in a couple weeks and it will be stocking my cooler.

For anyone still enjoying this brew as much as me....New Seasons got in a shipment yesterday of a batch that was canned on 7/30.

7/30 apparently hasn't hit Salem yet. Had to "settle" for a 4-pack of 7/24 yesterday. I'm on my 7th 4-pack of the summer. I'm gonna be sad when this beer goes away.

7/2X batch at Whole Foods RSQ. The stamping isn't all there so I can't tell the last number.

I've seen a fair bit of can-to-can variation in how much hop sludge is in the bottom, but can't say that I've noticed much flavor variation that I can't chalk up to freshness (or lack thereof).

Can anyone think of a colab beer that has become brewed year around. Ft george would be crazy not to keep brewing this. They know it's the best thing they've ever distributed.

I think Avery Collaboration not Litigation became a seasonal, but that's the closest one I can think of. Maybe Arctic Saison? (Grassroots: HF/Anchorage)

Agree that they'd be nuts to not regularly brew this beer, holy fuck it's amazing.

I just randomly clicked on an older image on Bottleworks' Twitter feed and saw that Fort George did this 3-way IPA last year. Fort George/Gigantic/Lompoc. Did anyone care about this beer last year? Didn't think so.

That leads me to this question: How much of a hand did each brewery have in the recipe this year? Given that this is basically a Hop Venom Lite, I wonder if Boneyard led the way.

Last years version sold really, really well, but this year's version is selling at roughly 2.5x the volume. As for who lead the way, I'm not really sure, but I do know that the Mosaics came from Boneyard. If FG wants to make this a year round beer they're going to have to shoot for a huge contract on them this fall.

Also, they recently bought a centrifuge, so there should be less sludge/trub/hop chunks in future batches.

Thanks for setting me straight, @maltmaster420. I obviously wasn't paying attention last year. Do you know much about the recipe? I suppose I could ask Ft. George directly, but it sounds like you know a little bit.
