I am looking to create a league of 10 players. Each entry is one bottle that you'd rather not part with. Something like BC Rare, Armand Lente, Cantillon 50n4e, etc.

The winner will get 7 bottles, second place will get 1.

League will be on espn. The draft will be on Monday Sep 1st at 6:30 pm pst, snake draft.

    Great first contribution gueuzedreg!

I will be putting an Armand Lente on the line, myself.

This is a standard espn league. I did change interceptions and fumbles to -1, instead of -2.

On the fence with this. Too QB heavy.

I can change the interceptions back to -2, but Im not a big fan of -2 for fumbles, as it affects rbs and wrs just as much

What kind of payout for 12 players? Maybe a bottle for best regular season record or most points during regular season?

Originally I was thinking first place would get 8, second place 2 bottles but I'm willing to discuss other options

Any opinions on paying out 6-2-1 for a 12 team league? With the regular season winner (or most points) getting 1. If that individual wins the championship or gets 2nd, then the 3rd place winner would get the 1. I'd be down either way. I'm thinking with the rarity of some of these bottles it might be nice to pay out three people.

Why not have top three just take the bottles. 1st- 8 2nd-3 3rd-keep their bottle. Just do the playoffs. Championship game takes care of 1st and 2nd, and 3rd is decided in the 3rd vs. 4th game.

I do prefer the simplicity of the creators (and other BIF's) original format that have the losers ship and winners receive. If someone crushes the regular season they ought to get at least one bottle as compared to none if they have one unlucky playoff game. It all sounds fun regardless.

I do like the idea of reserving one bottle for the person who scores the most points. I know in a league that I was in last year, the person who scored the second most amount of points finished dead last. She was the most unlucky person every week after getting the person's best week of the season and losing
