@rekrappy Thoughts on the new release date if you had to guess?

An Avery rep told me "about 6 weeks" on Saturday

This was a rather subdued cancellation, even some of the beer blogs (lookin' at you, Fermentedly Challenged) still had it on thier calendars. I only knew because I saw it in this thread and thus saved myself the drive up.

5 Monks release set for the 27th. 19.4% ABV is just haoooooge!

Soooooooo Sunday is the day. Who else is going up to Avery? I actually haven't been before - for bottle releases or otherwise - so this should be a good day for me!

Any word out on what Avery will be pouring on Sunday?

For real. I tend to get more excited for what's on tap more than the actual release. That 24 mo barrel aged Blackberry Sour last time (or the time before) was legit teeth-melting awesomeness.

On a unrelated note - Eremita I thru VI will be at the anniversary party along with Opuntia and Obscuro & Nimbosus. Pretty heavy stuff to drop on a guy on hump day.

Will miss the release (again) but I'm assuming I'll be able to find plenty of it around Denver next week, especially with 732 cases being released... still I can't wait for this one... love quads, never had a "quint"

    ISO: 5 monks

Man, I feel like I'm gonna accidentally spend a disgusting amount of money at the anniversary party. Choosing what to drink is gonna be damn tough. I'm thinking about heading for the oldest past anniv. beers because those will never exist again, gotta try Eremita I through IV (even though III won't be there), and I will never in my life skip drinking Opuntia. I'm scared, this month has hurt my pockets enough...

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if it's still on the shelves when Tweak is released. Lots of cases, not a sour, almost 20% abv. Just the kind of beer that will move slower than say, Opuntia.

Do we actually have a release date on BA Tweak yet? Hadn't heard anything...

November. Heard this at the Obscuro release.

So not a firm date, but as we saw with Black Eye, there's really no such thing.

So I've heard rumblings of a beer called Pump[KY]n , imperial pumpkin porter in bourbon barrels being released Sept 14th... Anyone else hear anything?

Next batch of Rumpkin releases a week later on 9/28 as well. For a second I was afraid Pump[KY]n was replacing Rumpkin this year but I was rest assured.
