I thought it had a huge grapefruit nose. I couldn't pull guava out of anything as I have no idea what it smells like. I even had a guava grove not too long ago and I couldn't say "yep, this is guava"

Haha, no worries. I work in produce so I see guava every day! CM or Whole Foods there should have some.

Had this yesterday. Great summer drinker. The hops were nice...wish it was a little more sour. On tap at DBK on Greenville, in case anyone cares.

They're allowed to search them at Baylor, probably because it's a private school. No one ever does though. Just need to be safe just in case. I'm over it though plus a good chance we'll be moving to Michigan in the next month or two.

I can almost guarantee there is wording in whatever paperwork you sign to live in the dorms that makes you subject to room inspection.

The fourth amendment only protects from government intrusion, civilians are only subject to criminal law covering trespassing, breaking and entering, etc.

On topic: I wanted a touch more tartness, but a tasty mosaic showcase nonetheless.

Yeah, sorry for posting that in this thread, not on topic what so ever. It had just happened recently and it was one of those things that I was pretty upset about and just wanted others to know how dumb it was.

Yep, wife is currently interviewing at three schools, two of which are in Kalamazoo & Grand Rapids. I recently did some work for Craft Beer & Brewing Magazine and they said there'd be a lot more work up there shooting breweries for them.

Is this stuff fairly limited or easy to find? I am visiting Texas and might be able to grab some bottles.

I think it is one of the best beers Prairie has ever made. Fantastic!

I agree. It's one of their best. It's the opposite of Prairie Bomb.

I had to get a few more today. But at $9 a pop it's a little expensive to enjoy as a regular drinker. But a nice treat for sure.

LOL, nope that was just taken on a good night full of great beer and it doesn't seem that special to "lick" a beer that isn't large format.... lmao, I also discovered that large formats are shit at tastings because nobody wants to drink the full glasses that everyone has to fill up to get to the next beer. Also, think of how many tastings you may have been to with some beer left in the bottles, the big bottle always has a bunch left....

I also think bible belt was very good for what it was, I hate chili beer, but bomb was perfect for what they were going after, vanilla was a let down and so were reg/coffee. If you appreciate red wine, then wine barrel was amazing

If you are visiting soon you might be able to grab some. I think its mostly a 1 time release as of right now.

I was just giving you a hard time. I thought the placement of that quote next to your avatar was humorous.

On tap at Little Woodrow's in Midtown. Pretty damn tasty. Probably not a beer I would sit on.

Picked up only one bottle because I'd seen some mixed reviews on this thread. Wish I could find more as I love it! The taste was good while the aroma was incredible! I love that funk smell. Guess I'm sorta like my dog in that regard. He loves to sniff dirty socks and such.

If anyone in H-town or visiting soon is interested, D&Q has a ton of this. I can't find it anywhere else.
