    Just read the invite email. It was Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013. Went through the bottle spreadsheet too. I tried some incredible beer that night.

    If the start time of the next event is early enough in the day, I wonder if Castle @Vav would be interested in / allowed to host a bottle share. The new(ish) space would be absolutely ideal for a large group of FIBs...

    Let's pick a date that works for most and does not interfere with other beer events. Ideas? Fischman Liquors & Tavern sounds like a great spot! Thanks Jimmy! So we have the place .... how does a noon start time sound? Aug 9th or 16th could be possible dates... I am digging the blind tasting theme.... you can also bring other beers to share while we wait...Cheers!

    August 23.

    August 16 is Air & Water Show, traffic (and public transportation, to a limited extent) a nightmare coming into and out of the city for those coming from outside the city.

    The 23rd sounds good to me. Unless that is the day of the beer festival in Plainfield, about which I have heard nothing this year; so perhaps it has fallen by the wayside {Almost as ridiculous as Wheaton having a beer festival. Both communities were founded as "dry" towns.}. :confused:

    I believe the 23rd is the Plainfield Beer Festival (I have tickets around here some where) - it's actually slowly getting better...
