    Seems like there have been quite a few of these types of threads recently; best cheap beer, best AAL, best lawnmower beer, etc, and I gotta tell ya, they have me thinking I'm missing something. I gave up BMC and AAL stuff when I got into craft, but you guys have inspired me to go grab some tallboys and see what happens. I might even do a blind tasting; that sounds like fun!

    Hot, humid and storming here in NYC. Had an ice cold High Life from a 12 ounce bottle. BOY.... perfect thirst quencher!! Went down crisp, smooth, and easy! Thinking about another. :grinning:

    I normally say Banquet, but I had a Hamm's tallboy last week after mowing my lawn ($1 grab bag) and it was actually quite refreshing.

    I haven't heard that, but that doesn't mean it's not true. I just remember when they dropped Old Style it was on the TV news. I think Old Style was the first beer I had as a teenager. I used to like it but grew tired of it in my 20's.
