Beervana Fest in Cranston, RI

I saw this post and was hoping for some news on this years beervana fest and you guys are sitting here talking about how good last years was that I missed for a wedding, not fair!

 

It's not too too far away. Information on this years will be out even sooner than that. I was excited for the same reason you were when this thread got bumped though.

I bumped it legitimately...responding to a question, but I confess I was thinking we should get some news on 2014 soon. Also, I wasn't on BA last year...so it's all fresh to me.

 

Some are, some aren't. But I am entitled to an opinion. And I responded this way because the other thread was cut off from replies and I couldn't let your comment pass by without one.

 

No issue with the bump, just got excited for new news. Welcome to BA

And I loved it. There were lines for certain things, and people nerding out for it, but overall it was just such a nice relaxed fest with some really high quality stuff. sure there was 75% average shelf offerings, and a small amount of shelf turds even, but being able to sample everything from the shelton bros table was almost singularly worth admission price. I am looking forward to this year!

 

Agreed. A big sweet waffle is not what I want when I'm drinking beer. I know I'm in the minority on that as people seem to love the waffle guy, but not having much of a sweet tooth - beer is sweet enough for me - so pairing a sweet food with a sweet drink is yuck. More salty, cured and spicy things!
