    Because on the site, it appears to be a dance club. They apparently have a bar section with 32 taps, though, so I could see why they're getting a good event(s).

    Nope not yet when I asked 2 weeks ago. They're supposed to I think contract brew their Floridian Hefe there since that's what takes up the most of their resources from the flagships so they have resources to experiment a little more but according to what I was told...that hasn't happened yet. They did do a collaboration there recently though.

    I hear ya, but a couple kegs of it ARE getting up here for Philly Beer Week. At least two places already have it listed as being on their tap schedule.

    Oh it's a little more than that. Folks the name of the place is Woody's. It's good to see though that better beer programs are reaching all kinds of bars. Sports bars, the ethnic spots (Asian, Ethiopian, etc), the gay bars, etc. It crosses over the whole spectrum.

    Exactly Beer Week, that's what I meant by fests, I was thinking it included that. What I mean is you'll probably only see their beers once a year during Philly Beer week if that, at least until they build their brewery

    Lots of dudes that like dudes like dudes that like craft beer.

    The Westbury is another "gay bar" with a great craft beer selection. Last time I was there with friends, they had Lost Abbey and Port, Sierra draft only's, Great Lakes and Stone.

    While I think it's all well and good that there are a number of great beer bars in Philly that cater more to a gay clientele, what about something for us straight guys? One of the things I really liked about Portland is that they have all these cheesy strip clubs that also happen to have a great craft selection. It just doesn't get any better than that!

    Anything like that in Philly?

    I'll be there. I plan on doing Capone's and Teresa's today (RR and FW events), and then Memphis Taproom (Half Acre) and Capone's tomorrow. May try to stop by Barcade as well tomorrow.

    As always, there are just entirely too many great events to choose from.
