Beer Camp in or around Memphis

It's not being distributed in Tennessee. Not sure about Arkansas or Miss.

 

Thanks to Tennessee's insane laws we cannot get any mix packs containing high and low gravity beers. Looks like it's time for a trip to NC.

Where is Joe's? We aren't getting the packs in Tennessee for sure. It isn't the fact that they can't mix high and low grav, it is because the taxes are so high to do so that Sierra Nevada decided not to send it, from my understanding.

 

Interesting, I heard it was because of the tax issues. Something about the TABC controlling high ABV taxes, and county by county being responsible for lower grav taxes. Since both are coming in the pack, there wasn't any resolution able to be made in time on how to split the tax revenues.

 

Joe's got it in this morning. As of 30 minutes ago (when I picked mine up), they had 2 left. They're going quick!

 

I can confirm Mississippi. Picked a pack up at The Smokestack (West Point) today. They had lots left, at least 10 more.

I believe he's talking about Joe's Craft Beer in Oxford Mississippi. Mississippi got about 70 cases from Clark Distributors.

 

Gas station is what I heard too. Heard about another place in Hernando that might still have a few that the owner was holding out. Also heard said owner didn't like the ones he tried, so no more holding out. Going to call tomorrow, but I will let y'all know if they have any more. After I get mine of course...

And I heard it was an Exxon in Hernando that apparently got the most cases of anywhere in the state... Go figure.

 

Haven't seen any here but I do believe I received an email from Midtown in Nashville stating that they were getting some... maybe im mistaken? Its not Memphis but that would at least indicate that TN would be getting some....

 

Sorry, I didn't see this earlier. I was, in fact, talking about Joe's Craft Beer in Oxford, MS. They've received at least two shipments of the Beer Camp 12-packs, but both were very small shipments and sold out very quickly. They've also received several shipments of the Beer Camp West Coast Double IPA, and had several left yesterday when I popped in. Sorry for the confusion, but hopefully that helps.

 

Went to Joe's in Oxford today as well as a few other places in Southaven, Olive Branch, and Hernando. No luck. But one store owner said he sold one guy six of them, so someone out there does have some... If they're willing to trade I'd be happy to.

North Mississppi got 80 cases total. By now I'd say they're all gone unfortunately. No one store could buy more than 8 cases.

 

What gas station was it? Out of curiosity. I won't be able to get down there anytime soon, but I figure someone else might be able to. Hope someone finds some. I'd be willing to contribute a bunch of stuff to a tasting if anyone is interested.
