of all the things i've said on here, why was that post deleted?

a genuine question, in context of the thread, deleted. i do not understand the moderation, or why people report things. but i do understand why the amount of traffic in this forum has plummeted.

I don't see where anyone is complaining? In fact most of the "butthurt"...hate that f'n word, is coming from the people that don't want this club. Mainly because they don't want to give up any of the beer they want. So who is being self-entitled? And what's wrong with being a little entitled anyway? We're all a little entitled...some more than others.

And why are we still arguing over it? They're not going to do it. It's over.

i do get the "MY PREHHHSHUSH" vibe from some in regards of JK beers. hahaha!

Jester King is middle earth, and their beers are evil...

I don't see what the fuss is. JK already posted their thoughts on it, and it makes real good sense. Lots of SW BA'rs are regular butt-hurters tho so I get it.

Well, sort of. I'm glad JK is getting hot. Their business model is just like Blue Bell...drink a few and sell the rest.

A RS would be great, but if they sell out or come close to selling out every weekend, why change that?

I'm pretty sure there is a reserve society. If you don't know about it...

I dunno if I'd make that comparison given how Alchemist is consistently putting out a few labels at a time, it's more closer to Tired Hands, Side Project, de Garde, Upright, Block 15 - beer is ready when it's ready and they just release stuff whenever.

I agree with mostly everything on here as to why JK doesn't need to do a reserve society. I think they have done one in a tiny way already with how they handled the first release of Atrial and the release of MvB and Temp. The sign up to reserve bottles was very easy and the fact that you had an entire month to get there and pick up bottles was great. I'm moving to Michigan next week so I will be seeing and drinking much much less of one of my favorite breweries.

I think it makes more sense to focus on the beer than it would to go through the headaches of inventory, storage, records, billing, and other logistical bullshit it would take to build and maintain a reserve society.

A reserve society would also take away from some of the joy of visiting the brewery. I LIKE that I can go out there every couple of weeks and pick up bottles without the worry of a small batch already having been allocated to premium-paying assholes sitting on their couches (and I mean 'assholes' in the most loving of ways).

Just keep making great beer, Jeff and We'll keep buying it.

There are some out of town who would benefit from it, but without a doubt the hoarder/traders would benefit more than anyone. I like how it is now.

Yes, let's make a Reserve Society so we can all complain that out of staters are buying memberships and taking our burrs.

The brewery seems to be doing very well and will continue expanding. Give it time and the limited beers will eventually see distribution. I don't like the idea of paying for the privilege to buy beer, but I can see the appeal RS for some breweries looking to grow quickly.

I really hope jester king NEVER implements anything similar to The Bruery. It's one thing if you have a memebership like De Garde or Crooked Stave.. it's another when you create a second tier like hoarders... FUCK THAT. Please
@jesterkingbeer keep doing what you are doing! I love a good road trip into Austin from Oklahoma with amazing friends and getting world glass sours in an amazing environment.

    Cheers
