Confirming that Rum King has Indeed (see what I did there?) lasted one hour at B&B, and I am not in a green shirt!

Grrr... trying to get down there in under an hour from now and one of the beers I really wanted to get to already gone. C'est la vie!

I thought you meant it had lasted -only- one hour. After a nice gentleman next to me at the bar pointing out that if I like Darkness I should try Rum King as well (you bet!), Rum King is still around. Trying it next to Darkness in a minute.

I hate to triple post, but can't figure out how to edit my post on the BA app...

Butcher & Boar definitely bringing the heat tonight (cue gratuitous baseball reference). All the Surly & Indeed above, plus 21A Hop Crisis (a personal favorite), 21A Hell or High Watermelon (okay, I'm not a fan, but my wife loves that stuff), Double Trouble, GI Ogden (which I hadn't had before last night), Deschutes BB24, and Hebrew Sweet 16.

    Might be stumbling home tonight...

Sorry for the confusion. Meant to relay that it was still on, an hour in.

BLARGH and this is what I get for not looking on here before I went downtown every day Fri-Yesterday for the All Star festivities. I even walked past the Smack Shack on my way to Fulton on the 13th, it looked busy but not crazy. Actually north loop area was a dead zone, I was sending out of towners I met at the various festivities over there to try some great food and drink with lesser crowds. Eh, oh well, had a killer time regardless. Lots of great folks and I regret nothing.

Anyone going to Boom Days this weekend at Boom Island? I'm going to end up missing the Cuvee release on Friday, anyone want to snag a bottle or two of it for me? I'd pay you back and toss in some goodies for my gratitude (Heady or Westbrook Gose anyone?)

Day Block just tapped a Berliner Weisse. They are serving it both straight up, and in flights of six with six house made syrups (if that's how you roll).

Sorry guys. Apparently my calendar is stuck in 2010. This coming Wednesday the 23rd!!! is our event, as opposed to the 28th. Sorry for any confusion and the double post and hope to see some of you there.[IMG]

Checked out Sisyphus tonight. 2 sips of the Coffee Stout was painful and was sent back. Overly roasty and ridiculously bitter. The Brett IPA and Oatmeal Pale Ale weren't much better. Whatever they are doing there needs major work. Ouch.

Also hit up Sisyphus last nite and couldn't disagree more. All three of us in attendance thoroughly enjoyed all their offerings, as well as the feel of the taproom. Chatted up the brewer for a bit and wish them nothing but the best.

What is WW stout? Not all of us are completely caught up on our beer abbreviations.
