A buddy of mine is headed to Dearborn for business on Tuesday and was wondering if I knew of any places to buy and drink beer. I didn't know of any and a quick search turned up Merchant's for a shop and Bailey's for a bar. Most of the posts that I saw were a little dated and wanted to check if there are some other shops/bars that you'd recommend??

    Thanks,

    John

In downtown Dearborn, I think that is it.

Will he have time to venture to Royal Oak, Ferndale, Detroit etc.....

Doubtful. He's flying into the Detroit airport and then his meeting is in Dearborn and spends the night and flies out late Wed afternoon.

Merchants is a great store, so he can't go wrong there. Tell him to park in the city lot behind the store and use the door back there.

Decent selection at Baileys. Buffalo wild wings also has a small selection of Michigan brews on tap and is about next door to Merchants.

Merchant's is a great bottle shop.....lots to choose from. As for beer bars in Dearborn, there's nothing that stands out. If you want to enjoy one of the best burgers in the country with a macro, head to Miller's Bar. One of the best burgers you'll ever have.
