We did this in the BW BIF and the winning number was in the single digits, so anything can happen.

That's why I went with 8, same number as last time. Was good until you took all my lower margin away . Let's see how it goes.

Everyone is taking about how much BCBS they think that everyone else has. So it would be like swapping it between everyone. I don't have any and i love it so feel free to send them all to me.

Why don't we say that vintage BCBS and Variants are OK, but unless your target has BCBS on their wants, not to send then?

I don't want to swap my BCBS for someone else's, but I surely want to get it to the person who wants it.

Good call @Clarkson, I think we can safely assume no one in the stouts BIF would object to BCBS in principle, so it not being a 'want' can just be a signal that "I've got all of 2013's that I need" whereas leaving it on your wants list will signal your sender 'send me this year's if you've got em' ...and I still am ISO your avatar.

I think we're screwed. Unless between you and I we send out a few 4 packs each..

My basic boxes already packed are a sharing of the stouts Ive collected this year. Some rare Kane ANTEAD, some not so rare WnB, FIS, some local brews Cape May Barely Wine (yes I know it doesn't count as a stout), some not so local Bomb!, some kinda on the cheap side Neshaminy Stouts (another local but good brews) and some not so cheap Eclipse Variant.

So if I send out a BCBS and get one back, yeah I understand its a "swap" but Im not going to be upset over it, its the thought that counts, and honestly I would rather someone send me something like a BCBS than say a Founders shelf beer that I can get any day of the week, Yes where I am at FIS is still on the shelf and Founders Breakfast Stout was still on the shelf last week when i bought the stores last 4 pk. While in NYC you can buy BCBS all year long where I am at you have a 1 week or less window to stock up at a 1 4 pk per person limit per store. So while some might be holding on to a kings ransom of XXXX Beer, some of us can't get it, or couldn't get it, or got so little that is might be more special than we think.

First off, that sounds like a great box you're filling, I'm definitely ISO ANTEAD, and NC Leon is a tasty brew.

Secondly, I agree with you on your main point, I hear sometimes about things like Parabola collecting dust and it makes me cry, meanwhile I had to jump through very few hoops to land an entire case of BCBS.

I think BCBS keeps getting talked about as a "dont bother sending it" beer because this past year, overall, there was so much of it, and everyone seems to like it (KBS and Dark Lord get a pretty mixed reaction but I've never once heard someone say they just don't like BCBS).

I agree with the point I think you're making, that a moratorium on sending 'regular' BCBS is not the right way to do it, but I like the concept of sending it only if it's a 'want'.
