    I'm blowing off work to be with my wife today. I think this is a good time to hit Beer Camp. My first random selection is Torpedo Pilsner. Very hop-forward and floral.

    I am on the same camp schedule today.

    This is one of my favorites so far! Damn! I had to go look a the fine print and see the partner brewer. (small, not well known...Firestone Walker!)

    Well there's something wrong with me. It's 80 degrees at 8 am this morning and I heard that the local wegmans has upstate brewings kentucky common beer that was reviewed in BA magazine #83. I hightailed it down there this morning to get some because it's a style that only 2 brewers are doing that I know of and that has not been seen since prohibition.

    When I got home I grabbed the first beer from @kerry4porters porch crusher box that he sent me. Mr. Pineapple! Darn I love it. I would put that beer in the summer cooler, on the golf course, lawnmower beer, better than a shandy cause it's all beer.

    I went to St. Louis this weekend to visit family and wound up (officially) expanding my family. My youngest daughter, Cassie married her guy of 3 years, Scott in a very small and beautiful ceremony on Sunday. We had a pre-wedding celebration at the International Tap House. It was Belgian Independence Day at the ITH, so you got to keep the glass of the Belgian that you drank. Yes, I know it's not now, so thanks for indulging a proud poppa and letting me share ...

    After the ceremony, we toasted the newlyweds with some Prairie Bomb and BA Abraxus (courtesy of the groom's brother @snansel ) as they danced with the St. Louis skyline behind them. Cheers to love, family and all of you!

    i love this and all, but how is it out already!!! damnnn

    last week, finished helping to build this chicken coop. all wood, windows, and door were recycled. celebrating the completion with a bus-top drank and pbjer
