Yeah, I think a warm sunny day definitely enhances it. We were also salting the brim of the glass which just added such a nice element to compliment everything in the beer. There was a big watermelon flavor in this one that was just so nice on a hot day.

 

Salting the rim of a watermelon beer sounds great, especially if it's a bigger beer than 21A's Hell or High Watermelon... i love that beer but there's almost nothing to it and the watermelon is (though amazing) all the way in the back end

 

Glad to see it is happening to others as well.

 

WOOHOO -- beer has been delivered to Michigan! I first checked at about 7:20AM, and the status was "on on truck for delivery", and that hadn't changed as of about 4:30PM. Then for the past hour plus, I was getting error messages and kept thinking the (*^%)(*# package had gotten exceptioned (if that's a word). But it has been left at the front door in Brighton... anxiously awaiting details (if not pRon)..

All I did was be a pain in the ass... We still might need to supplement this. Although if the Kane growler is fresh that would be pretty nice...

So I know a few pages back I mentioned something about meeting up at Al's this saturday potentially, for those of us within distance. Seems I'm cancelling that (the two people that expressed interest in going to the park had to back out and I've not found any replacements, and it's about a 45 minute drive to Al's from home and I'm probably not gonna make a dedicated trip out of it)

Sometime soon though. Also, seeing all of these hauls is making me excited for round 3 and my first BIF ahhhhhh is it sept/oct yet

 

Rules are made to be broken. Besides the way I look at it that collection is below 6 750mls so I am within the boundaries. Enjoy and cheers!

 

I dunno about all that, by that logic you could have sent a whole case and said "but I'm below 6 64oz growlers"... that said, it's a rule in some other really long BIF thread that 2 cans = 1 bottle, so by that logic you're just fine.

edit: didn't notice the can on its side... you're really pushing your luck mister!

 

I did not break the rules..I sent only 6 beers.. but I hope my target still likes my box... should find out tomorrow...

 

Noted. Just think if our fore fathers followed the rules the USA would not exist. Rather than a rule breaker I would consider myself a Trail blazer, freedom fighter or just indecisive....choose one

 

Are you still planning a Cincinnati visit this weekend if so I will buy you a beer in honor of you being right and I wrong.
