I've been calling all over Chicago Wookie Jack nor Parabola have hit the shelves yet in Chicago but there are plenty places with them on tap.

Most stores I frequent when I'm working in the northwest suburbs have been told two weeks... I live in the city, and the stores here usually get it a week earlier.

I opened my last bottle of 2011, which had been sitting unrefrigerated in a dark box the past year, and it was still excellent. The barrel character was still very present, but it wasn't as hot as I remembered it being. Just delicious.

Lincoln Park Binnys sold out already, but they did have a few more of the 2011 batch available as of 15 min ago.

No limit... I didn't make it, glad I didn't bother trying. I've heard from multiple sources (2 Whole Foods and a guy) that the suburbs aren't getting any Parabola, and didn't get any last year. Any truth to this?

The suburbs definitely got Parabola last year.

The Lincoln Park location still has a bottle or two of 2011. The Grand location expects theirs Tuesday. Clark location doesn't know when they are getting theirs still. The South loop location still has some but it is limited to 1 bottle per person

Thanks for the updates. Six months ago I'd have made the hour trip down to the city and back to pick up a few bottles. Nowadays I'd rather spend two hours getting real work done or relaxing at a bar, enjoying whatever's on tap. Lesson learned.

Haha, just had a guy tell me that FW just bottled it and it won't be out for another two weeks at least.

Had to send the GF/Mule to get bottles this morning at Binny's, thankfully she had the day off.

Wish I would have seen Vav's tweet last night. Sitting on my ass all morning with the day off about a mile away. Traffic looks too shitty right now to go down to South Loop.

Sounds like I may not be able to find any when I'm in the city on Sunday. That sucks.

Just picked one up at South Loop. They aren't on the floor, you have to ask someone to grab you one. Limit 1 per person.

Does anyone have any insight as to how much of this will be hitting the area compared to Sucuba?

Suburbs next week or so, I'm told.

Can someone tell me... when you say LP still has a couple of bottles of 2011... do you mean that Parabola 2011 is and has been just sitting on the shelf, or do they have it under lock and key for an inflated price or something? Who (well... what BA) would just walk by a bottle of Parabola on the shelf and not buy it at its normal price? I am frightened and confused.
