Am I the only one who thinks Mocha-Hazelnut sounds kind of gross? I can't shake the idea that it would be cloying, syrupy, and artificial tasting.

If they decided to commit to that project, it would be awesome. Never met a Bourbon County I didn't like.

I've never had it but I love imperial stouts and see pictures of BCBS all the time. Where does this get distributed to? Does it make it to the northwest at all?

I did a search on GI's site for 97001 zip code (don't know yours), and it looks like there are places within like 30 mi that carry Goose Island beer. You might wanna give your zip code a shot:

    http://www.gooseisland.com/find-beer.html

(obviously you're probably not gonna find BCBS there currently)

I'll be happy with regular BCBS this year, such a great beer, but it always kicks my ass.

Upping? It was almost too much beer for our market here in Wisconsin last year. They could just adjust their distribution and I think they'd be fine.

Yeah, we got a ton of regular old BCBS 4-packs this year. @ $20 a pop they didn't sell very quickly. hardly any of the variations, though.

I personally think that CW BA Stout is more drinkable, and CW 16 which is still available at the brewery, is just a better beer overall.

If there was too much BC at stores in your area, please feel free to drop me a BM in November with a list of those establishments. Most varieties sold out within hours last year around here.

Whole Foods, Kensington, and Otto's all had 4-packs on the shelf for at least 4 weeks, some had them even longer. A few put a case or two away figuring they'll just put them out as verticals next year. The initial wave that hit the more popular shops sold out within a week, but lots of smaller non-craft-centric shops rec'd theirs a week later and had trouble getting rid of it.

Thanks – looks like a jaunt to the Milwaukee area needs to be added to my calendar right after Thanksgiving. :-)

Wish that was the case here it was all gone in 2 hrs, variants lasted 5 minutes, like if you were not in the parking lot you missed. Backyard I got the last bottle, and if I was 10 feet further away it would have been gone. First time in NC, $18 a 4 pk.

They can cover the bottle in plain, brown wrapper and I'll take a case:rolling_eyes:

Same here in Grand Rapids except most stores were charging $7-8 per single bottle. I spent about 5 hours driving around in a snowstorm to end up with 5 each of the regular and barleywine and one Backyard. Never again. This year I think I'm just going to try the trading route and if it doesn't work out I'll be happy with the 1-2 bottles I can easily land.
