Completely agree. Good beer I have not had is always welcome. My wants are full of whales and dolphins, but it doesn't take them to make me happy, but I surely wouldn't turn any down.

Oh, my wants list is greedy as hell because it's largely there for people contacting me to trade. Whoever has me can be assured I'm gonna love whatever is sent.

I feel like I have 1000 beers on my list but whatever comes, I'll be happy. As a ticker, BIF's are the greatest

 

So while we've all been updating our wants, etc... I've been wondering about trying something that could help us make this BIF even better. So, how about this... we all:
1) Answer this: What's your favorite stout you don't have access to but others do? (meaning - not the best you've ever had in a BVDL'ish way, but more like "Parabola" or "BCBS" but I don't get it in my state).
2) Post a hint of your target.

I'll start:
1) KBS / BCBS + Variants
2) My target has more trades than me.

 

Can this be what you "Think" may be your favorite? There are SO many beers I haven't tried. This could be a top wants of your wants? Is that what you were thinking?

 

I mean - something you'd love to drink more regularly than you can trade for currently - and you know other folks can. Keepin' it Greenpeace #nowhalezbro

My goal is to find out IF I can get my target more than 1 of a stout that is more easily available to me, that happens to be a "i'd drink this way more often if I could" for him and try to help out other folks in the BIF in the process.

Hint #2 - My target has more trades than I do
Hint #3 - my targets state has less letters in it than my state
Hint #4 - my target has (at least) 2 wants in the top 20 of the top 250 beers, one of which I have not tried, he's getting it from me anyway
Hint #5 - OK not a hint BUT.....if my target would be interested in a Bottle of Chaotic Insecure Delusions from 2nd Shift (yes it's not a stout but it is a limited release of a style they might like) thrown in as an extra.........they should like this post!

Your box is shaping up nicely! I just added a bomber from your wants list: a stout made with multiple adjuncts by a brewery in a coastal state. I'm also adding another world-class stout from the same region that isn't on your wants, but I think should be...even if you've had it, it's worth drinking more of. We're sitting just north of 290oz with an average rating just shy of 94 (counting the 12oz non-stout want I threw in).

Hint #2: Shipping north of Texas to a state with more letters in its name than my own.

Hint 3: 1 fairly new bottled stout has 8 reviews: 1 bottle just release and not listed yet on BA
