    My buddy is driving from NY to Grand Rapids. Any local stuff that you would recommend? As far as bottles/cans he can bring back. I prefer IPAs/Stouts. Or anything that I might not be able to get in NY that is available in Grand Rapids. Thanks, cheers!

    Just by what my d&w in holland has stock right now you should be alright.. shorts mmmkay.. available for around 10 bucks.. heck there's even a bunch of founders imperial stout there, Devil dancer, also arcadia shipwreck as well.

    Shorts. buy it. so much of it. Oddside also makes some good stuff. buy that too.

    Perrin's is definitely worth a visit. I was going to recommend their Malted Milk Ball Porter but I see that it is not on their taplist right now. Regardless, they have plenty of other good beers to choose from and their facility is definitely worth checking out. I also like that you can purchase half growlers in addition to regular growlers.     If you go to Founder's, you may as well check out HopCat. They are only a quarter to half mile walk away from each other.

    And everyone is right on with Short's. Everything they make is money in the bank.
