Dude, i'm totally giving this a try! Cooking with beer is awesome, don't know why i haven't' done it more often.

I marked out for Marvin the Martian. Whilst drinking Oskar Blues Mama's Little Yella Pils.

 

I started with a Victory Summer of Love earlier this evening.
Next was a Sculpin or three, mighty fine.
Now I'm finishing the evening with a Ten Fidy and some chocolate.

 

Truthfully being the huge barleywine freak that I am, and having had lots of them, Hammerhead was just ok.
Nothing really wrong with it, just nothing spectacular, and isnt as sweet as I like. (easy drinking for the abv though)

 

Wanted to break in two new gasses OsNJCB just hooked me up with, so I started off with a beer that tastes like wine, in a beer glass that looks like a wine glass. Muscat D'Amour courtesy of boatshoes.


Then decided to pop open a Westbrook IPA I got today as an extra from rnorgart. Thanks!!

 

@$20/bottle +shipping costs I paid, I must say, "crap."

 

I'll be having an 8-Bit a little later, but this Tank 7---this LNBA sponsored by Boulevard Brewing apparently---is quite good with this chili.
Akuma No Uta is an amazing album. Pink is really great, as well, but I'm listening to Gene Vincent and the Bluecaps "Bluejean Bop" mono LP I found for really cheap today--so great.

My evening started off with an Indian Brown Ale from Dogfish and will be followed in an hour or so w/a Hop God from Nebraska Brewing (pairing it with some funky cheese!)

Tonight's a Founders beers I've never tried night, I've got three on deck, and starting light. Solid Pale Ale, nothing extraordinary, just really really solid.

Have you heard New Album? Even when Boris are unabashedly poppy they blow me away. Although, I saw them perform Altar in full with Sunn O)))…was pretty disappointed (i.e. they opened covering the *Doors*, whom I loath…)
