2010, 3 philosophers. This is amazing, I know I will be stashing this in the cellar. Just an amazing beer.

I also popped a stone beerworks 13 and had to drain it. What a weird beer. I couldn't drink it.

man this is great. had a bottle last fall for the first time from a crappy store with 2 inches on dust/fur on it. it tasted way off but this bottle is fresh and insane.
i barely touched the cork and it shot off.

No shit. I've definitely cut back on other beer purchases to make room for this in the beer budget.

    Pearl Necklace, HA!

Any briny-ness/saltiness? That's really the only thing that oysters contribute to an oyster stout in my experience...

I'm sipping on some more of Sierra Nevada Southern Hemisphere. 24oz of a very beautiful thing.

Holy cow. This Captain's Reserve must be fresher than the last time I had it, because this is much better than I remember and about the most pine-forward DIPA I've ever had. This is fucking lovely.

    I'm going to have to re-review this . . . a good problem to have :-)

Started off with a hop devil and donnybrook stout at the Victory Brewpub and now I am drinking a Heady Topper.

Probably going to go with a Supplication next, epic Friday.
