Haha I do feel sorry for you guys if you're shelling out over $20/bottle, that is just crazy.

Yeah, someone said $17.75 - i would *think* about it at that price point, not above $20 though...

I'm a huge fan of deschutes, and especially their reserve/Annie series but I thought this one was wayyy too tart. I didn't like that they did pomegranate and cranberry. But I think it will be awesome for thanksgiving tho

    I thought it was alright...

I don't really like fruit in any beer, and the tartness on the finish was a LITTLE extreme, but all-in-all I liked it enough to not be disappointed I spent $15 on it. Would I go back to the store for a 2nd bottle? No. Would be nice to try it again in like 2-3 years. I don't think only the 1 year they recommend aging it will balance it out enough, i feel it will need more time.

Same here in the Chicagoland area, Mirror Mirror and Not the Stoic are just sitting on the shelves, but the BBXXVI flew off the shelves last week with many places limiting one per customer. Odd.

I had this on draft last night while hoping around to some local bars, I can't compare it to any of the previous years because Deschutes is new to the scene here. The fruit flavors mellow the bourbon slightly, but I tasted the cocoa and vanilla notes more then anything. deff a good beer. It was also cool to have the YR BB to compare as well. those prices are crazy, I only paid $6 for a 13-14oz pour. hopefully they don't run out before I make it back

    The Dissident is coming soon.

I was really impressed with Not The Stoic, despite the hefty price tag.

I had both 25 and 26 fresh, I enjoyed 25 a lot, a lot more. Two different beers, of course but 26 was just way too sweet from the cranberry. Half way thru it, I almost drained poured 26 but I don't like wasting beer, so I killed the mutha. Will try 26 again after the recommended enjoy date. 25 was delicious straight off the bat, so I would assume it's only gonna get more delicious.
