What was your first trade?

I sent Zhukov and got a Dark Lord.

 

I traded about 8 bottles of Yeti variants for 5 bottles of Pliny and 2 bottles of Simtra. Hell of a trader to hook me up like that on my first trade.

 

First ever trade was in-person. Traded 1 from a brick of Westy XII for 4x Heady Topper.

First ever shipped trade had me send another of the aforementioned Westy XIIs, 1 Heady Topper, and a selection of local IPAs (Captain's Reserve, Flower Power, some Jai Alais), and in return I received Darkness, Wisconsin Belgian Red, Raspberry Tart, and 4 Surly cans (Abrasive x2, Bender, Coffee Bender). Still cellaring the Darkness.

 

No trades yet. I would love to try some stuff from Russian River or Founders though.

It was my funkaversary for a 2011 12 oz bcbs. The dude sent me a 3 year vert of WnB, a glass, a boatload of stickers, and some coasters. What a dude. I can't even remember who it was but he was from TN. Thanks if you're out there. In the past year or so since that trade I've done 45 trades, and boosted my cellar from about 20 beers to over 315 bottles, mostly bombers.

Most of this is due to getting a case of CRWnB, 8 BA Bigfoots, and lots of Lindley Park and Event Horizon, Maceo, and Snozzberry. Also WW and hop drop helped too. Thanks BA for all the good times and trades.

 

I got a bunch of Southampton, Heavyweight, Captain Lawrence. I sent Grand Teton, Russian River, Lost Abbey...

 

Maybe two years ago - sent New Glarus brews for Cigar City Brews. It was AWESOME.

Ha! I believe my first one was a SuperKitty '07 for DL '07 at KTG release in '08 as an in-person trade. Those SuperKittys are hot stuff!

 

Was actually less than a month ago 3 CCB Cucumber Saisons $4$ of Troegs beers of his choice. Ended up sending me Heady, 2 WB Gose, HDNR, bomber of PseudoSue, Bomb!, & a couple of his locals. Knocked out 5 of my wants in one trade, I was blown away.

 

I think it was a 6pk of ZD, a couple NG fruit beers, and some pipeworks bombers. We were pretty close $4$ but none of my beer was anywhere near as rare as beat, kbs, or even westy
