Driving down to Edmonton next weekend from Grande Prairie, I know that Sherbrooke had 2006/2008 Thomas Hardy's a while ago but do they still have any? Also looking for Gueze, Iris and Fou Foune if they are around. I checked Liquor Connect, but couldn't find anything for Thomas Hardy's and i'm not sure how often it's updated.

Thomas Hardy would have been out of the catalogue years ago, sure Sherbrooke still has some as to the Cantillon sure all the Foufoune is long gone, you may have some luck with the Gueuze and Iris.

Was at Sherbrooke a few weeks ago. Geueze WAS there, and wasn't a few days later when I went for another bottle.
    Iris, sure.
No idea on their cycle for delivery.

It is also worth checking out Keg and Cork, the last few times I was there - they had Iris and Gueze, but no Fou Foune.

Looks like they don't have any more Gueze (I contacted them on Facebook). Any 3 Font around?

There are still some 375's of the 3 Fonteinen Oude Gueze & Gold Blend hanging around both Sherbrooke & Keg 'n Cork. There's also some Oude Beersel stock, too. They'll empty your wallet in a flash!

Yeah, I don't get down to Edmonton too often so I have a little put aside for my trip

What kind of prices are we looking at just so that I can plan accordingly?

From memory the Oude Gueze is around $10 or $11, the golden blend is close to $20, and the Oude Beersel go from $32 up for the 750's and the 375's are $20, I think. I can check pricing later as I'm off to get some stuff from Keg 'n Cork.

Wow the Oude Beersel is expensive. From what i've read it's also inferior to 3 Font Gueze. Not sure whether to take the plunge with the Gold Blend or just stick to the regular gueze.

The Oude Beersel Mega Blends are very good, high priced, but very good. I'd put it on a par with some of the 3 Font stuff.

You should check out Tilquin. He uses three of the lambics that are part of Drie Fountain blends plus Tilquin is the only blender to get and use Cantillon in his blends. As to the Horal Mega blends two are amazing and worth every penny, Cantillon is not a member of Horal and not part of the blends. The 2009 was a little sweet for my liking, the 2011 was my fave of the three. Really surprised the Horal Mega blends are still on the shelves they are long gone in Calgary.

Not so, I picked up two bottles of 2013 (albeit the last two bottles) off the shelf at Willow Park earlier in the week. And don't quote me on this but I think I saw some hanging around at Kensington just yesterday.

Yeah thought about picking up some Tilquin too. Would you choose the Mega Blend over the other gueze's mentioned?

There are tiny amounts of Tilquin's Questche (Plum Lambic) that just started showing up of stores.

I'm off to Sherbrooke today. I'll have a look if there's any there.

Reviving a long dead thread but I will be back in Edmonton next month. Any ideas on whether anywhere has any Cantillon left? I suspect the Thomas Hardy's are long gone...

Doubt it. I did find 2011 3F Golden Blend at Liquor Select not too long ago though.
