Hey guys, I live in MD, which has a decent craft beer selection, but when I check SeekABrew.com it seems that many of the beers that I want to try come to VA (not MD). Can you guys recommend a craft beer store with a large selection in the northern VA area? Thanks

When I visited Dominion Wine and Beer, I was very pleased with the selection. It isn't the largest variety ever, but I found it well curated.

The Whole Foods in Fairfax isn't too far away from Dominion also, and very highly rated.

What specific beers are you looking for?

I specifically remember them having numerous cases of Jai Alai at Dominion. Not too sure about Bell's and Founders; probably because we get those in PA and I was ignoring them if I saw them.

If you are coming into VA near Tysons I would suggest going to Norms and Whole foods in Vienna. There is also Total wine in Mclean. All three are within 5 miles and close to 495. Between the 3 you will find what ever you are looking for as long as it is not a limited release.

The other side is not as good if you are crossing the Woodrow Wilson. I would suggest either Total Wine Springfield or Alexandria(close to 395). There is also a whole foods near old town that I have not been to in awhile. Last time I was there the selection and parking sucked. I thought I heard it has gotten better but cannot confirm this.

If you are coming through DC there are some smaller shops in Arlington that I don't have experience with maybe someone else can help.

Whole Foods in Fairfax (that was already mentioned) just posted that they got a bunch of Jai Alai canned 7/22.
