Sorry for the terrible picture. Trust me the beer is better than what the picture portrays. [IMG]

Home from work after a long day. Kids are upstairs and wife is looking sexy. As I walk over to her, she says, "You want a little sumpin'?":grimacing::grimacing:

She watches me smile from ear to ear, and then she hands me this...

Oh, well. At least I got some Extra!?:slight_frown::wink::slight_smile:

    Cheers!:grinning:

I used to drink DFH 90 religiously when I was first getting into IPAs/DIPAs because I was into the maltiness, but now I look for a lot more bitterness... and I'm just not finding it here.

Last one of the night for me, and down to 2 total of these left in the house, 'tis a sad day.

I'm finally at camp with the rest of you!!! And here's how I've gone about my activities thus far...

As always, good beer deserves good music:

Now on to Three Floyds Cimmerian Sabertooth Berzerker Double IPA. This is a hophead's kind of beer. It's unfiltered, so you can see all that hop sediment and it's definitely the murkiest beer I've had by them. Tons of orange notes: sweet orange, orange peel, and blood orange. Also getting some dank, resinous pine, grapefruit, and grassiness. Nice sweet malts to balance it. Basically tastes like dank orange juice. I take for granted my close proximity to this brewery, but beers like this remind me of how great this place is, especially with hoppy beers!

Here's a pretty efficient way to consume $20+ worth of beer quickly...

I've had a bunch of these Almanac sours now and, while they're all pretty good, I think they're all essentially the same base beer with a different fruit or other addition. Cheers!
