    After another long day, I turn to the strong stuff again. This is sooo smooth for 11%
    I don't know how much I'll be on here the next few days, but my little girl's surgery is Monday morning early, so wish us luck. She's a real tough cookie and she's defied the odds and made people scratch their heads already, so she's gonna knock this out the park.

    Just finished up a bomber of aged almost a year enjoy by 12/10/13 Ballast Point Victory At Sea paired with a Rocky Patel 1990 and closing out a book writen by a friend of mine John R Wood Ordinary Lives Extraordinary Missions 5 Steps to Winnning the War Within.

    You are absolutely right, it was drinkable but too thin and the chocolate and peanut butter didn't seem to sync up for me.

    Mikkeller Big Worse Barleywine. Has to be at least three years old. Really complex: dark fruit (raisins, plums), carmel and some toffee, light cocoa nibs. So complex and pretty old. Most of the aging took place a long time ago, but still pretty smooth. Too damn high.- Juicy J

    Good beer night. Fenton Winery & Brewery had their Open House today. Started at FWB, then continued to the Fire Hall, and now a finisher at home.

    Had the following:

    FWB - Bloomin Berries (Wildberry Shiraz Imperial Blonde Ale) - Pretty good. Nice 3rd installment of the fusion series.
    FWB - Eminent DIPA - Tasty as always.
    FWB - Staggering Bull Imperial Brown - Just OK.
    Odd Side - El Dankerino - Very good. Dinner at the Fire Hall was delicious too. Waitress told us stories of her serving Kid Rock.

    Now finishing the night with a Moon Man from New Glarus. Best NG beer out of the mixed 12.
