    I'm happy to see some good Japanese breweries on this list. Swan Lake and Minoh are great breweries:

    I never heard of SanktGallen but I'll definitely have to check them out.

    Totally agree. Take HK brand Blue Girl as an example. It was okay under German beermakers but went completely disastrous when Koreans took over the operation

    So, any idea where I can get any of the beers mentioned on the list?

    No beer brewed under contract in Hong Kong is worth trying. Why is the San Miguel brewed in the Philippines imported into Hong Kong? Because the licensed version brewed locally is that bad. But when you have Hong Kong Brewing, Moonzen, and Young Master Ales, you need not worry.

    I think you'd be hard-pressed to find them outside the regions/countries they are brewed in.

    Makes me want to take a trip to Japan while I'm here in China.

    Certainly more accessible, physically and mentally, than from Michigan. I think a craft beer and sake tour would be a great way to visit
