Pretty sure Taplist is now defunct -- I believe the guy posted/sent out an email/something a month or two back about him no longer updating the site.

Thanks, that makes sense as data is stale.

    You are thinking of http://www.taplister.com/

Our site http://taplist.at is still fine. As for the data staleness, it's only as up to date as the venue's untappd checkins are. It's a tool to see what has been on tap in the past and to give you an idea of what might be there before you go.

Does anyone know if Alpine still distributes Alpine kegs that were brewed at Alpine, or are all the kegs we see in the wild brewed at Green Flash? I was under the impression that kegs in distribution were brewed at Green Flash, but I'm not sure why I thought that was the case. It makes sense that new accounts like Urge and Tap Room would be receiving, say, Nelson brewed at Green Flash, but when I'm drinking Nelson at O'Brien's, a bar that has had Alpine on draft for ages (an old account), could I be drinking Nelson brewed at Alpine? Either way, the Nelson I had at O'Brien's last Monday was out of this world good.

I see beers checked in on Untapped at a venue recently, then I look up the venue on your site and the beers are showing up as only being at that venue months ago.

Before the GF Alpine hit the market, I had heard from somebody at Toronado that they would be getting the Alpine stuff, and my impression was that O'Brien's would be as well. I'm not sure if that ended up being the case or not, but I think you can be assured that if you are not at those places or Alpine itself you are getting GF Alpine.

Yeah, not sure about the San Diego area (O'Briens/Toronado) but LA, OC and I believe SF area are getting the slightly different version of Green Flash/Alpine IPA's. BW just had a 2nd keg of Nelson (for the month of July) on the other day. It should of been a keg of Duet if they keep the rotation the same. Then HB would be the third one. But I believe they had some issues with the latest batch of Duet & HB coming out of GF. So maybe thats why we are seeing another keg of Nelson at some spots.

I had a Nelson at Obrien's recently ( was delish btw ) . Tyson said it was a GF keg.

Two Nelsons were brewed back to back instead of Duet which should have been the next one. Had nothing to do with the quality of duet or HB the first time they were brewed. Just how it worked out.

Hopefully there is enough Amarillo left to get a batch done before long.

yeah, looks like they're making it facebook official now. Or maybe it's just still complicated.

Mainly sounds like Alpine didn't have enough capital to lock down the expansions of that other building (a few blocks away) and converting the old restaurant/brew house on their own, so they just gave up a little bit on paper to merge together with Green Flash. Mutual beneficial and if they're claiming it'll still be a separation of breweries, then guess it's business as usual.

Cool, maybe I'll see Alpine bottles again, it's been maybe three years or so.
I'd imagine all kegs and bottles for distribution will be done at Green Flash and all brewing for the pub(s) and growler fills will be done in alpine.
