What the Funk!? GABF 2014

Haha kinda dick move there, Crooked Stave, to announce this a few days after GABF sales. Although I'm sure that's the point.

 

ha, more like a few hours. I'd rather them announce it before but 2 weeks after probably would feel better to me.....oh well, its awesome and I wanna go

 

More than "kinda"

 

I emailed [email protected] before GABF tickets went on sale and they told me it was Thursday, Oct. 2nd. While you're right it wasn't formally announced, it wasn't impossible to find out when it was before you bought tickets.

Not sure if it's political or not, as I believe last year it was somewhat in response to those that didn't get into GABF, so they waited until after the GABF lottery? I'm not sure, but sounds like date was set in advance.

 

So that means they withheld information on purpose?

And so did you? Why do you hurt me?

 

Add me to the list of those bummed out. Only pulled the trigger on Thursday session for GABF this year...may need to see if I can trade or pickup tickets for Saturday afternoon instead. =(

 

I didn't withhold it, I was just cautious posting on BA since it wasn't official, I didn't want to tell everyone the wrong date... that would have been worse. I was just saying, it doesn't hurt asking them.

Heck, some people I told still bought tickets for Thursday.

 

Ah, no worries. I pour at GABF anyway

 

Saturday is where it's at for the GABF anyway....and if you already bought Thursday tickets you can unload them for face value super easy and quick

WTF is going to be amazing so be there or be less cool somewhere else

 

I choose to be less cool at GABF that night. Unless I change my mind. Pretty interesting stuff.

 

Anyone know what the limit is per cellar reserve member?

 

I heard no first dibs on tickets, so whatever the limit is, it'll be the same for everyone.

 

Another letdown.... Sigh.

 

Any information available on price?

 

If it is true that CS members get no dibs on tickets, that's a major bummer. It was one of the major perks of joining, imo.

 

The bright side is that we have 14 more mornings to practice waking up early before we reach game day.

 

Last year was $100 for non CS member i think

 

Damn. I'm assuming it was well worth it judging from the tap list.
