So it's not called brown peach.

How do you read that - 1,500 bottles or 4,500 bottles? (750 combined for Friday Saturday Sunday or 750 each day?)

I read it as two bottles per person to the first 750 people, so 1,500 each day.

4,500 bottles total. Seems in keeping with the new facilities.

With that number, the release should be a much more laid back affair than many here seem to be anticipating.

So let me get this straight. A world class brewery, releasing a world class beer and actually letting the public KNOW WHEN AND WHERE TO GET IT??? Sorry, I've been on the Assassin Day thread way to much. Thanks NG for not being TG.

Aw, not fair! NG has the facility to house such a release, and is putting out many more bottles of beer.

Once TG has their new facility you'll see a more organized effort on their part.

Thank god. But I was just reporting exactly what Dan told me. It does appear to be a Sour Brown Ale with Peaches, so I'd say the report was pretty damn accurate.

Yeah, your right. Kind of a low blow on my part. I guess I got sucked into the black hole of hate that's going on over there.

I jumped that thread when the weirdness started. I'm looking forward to gathering some R&D and trying to hunt down a bottle of Assassin next weekend. Either way I'll come home with some good beer.

All I got to say: New Glarus is really digging Instagram these days.

Agreed. And I thought I'd never say this but I'm thinking that R&D Peach sounds better than the Assassin. Might have to make a road trip.

Now to figure out if I'm feeling sick next Friday or just waiting until the weekend...

Either way, probably make a day of it and do some back roads cycling on one of these: http://www.h3odesign.com/BFNIC_B_Loops.pdf

Anyone read the tasting notes Dan wrote on the label? Oak, leathery, horsey (wtf), hints of bourbon.

4,500 bottles. All I can say is once again, thank you NG! Everyone can now take a giant step back from the ledge.

If I get there when they open on Friday I might have time to make it back to work in Milwaukee at 2pm. Then, after work I'm driving up to Sauk city for a wedding on Saturday... so I can make it out there before the wedding barring the time they need ushers for pictures. Then, I can make the hungover drive back there on Sunday too! Everything's coming up Milhouse!
