Parents visiting Sioux City, IA

    Hey all, hello from the Southwest forum.

    Quick Question:

    My Parents are visiting an elderly relative Sioux City, IA. Are there any beers I should have them look out for or any good bottle shops?

    Lived there for 3 years. Nothing goes on up there. I tried to make lemonade out of lemons, too.

    Honestly, nothing too exciting in Sioux City. Your best place to go is going to be Charlie's. When I go through there from Sioux Falls on my way to Des Moines, I do stop there to pick up what they have from Crooked Stave. Otherwise, nothing too wild.

    Like NIN1988 said, your best bet is Charlie's. Agreed, not a lot of geeky beers here, but there are plenty of solid choices. Are they going to be making any other stops in Iowa, or is Sioux City it? Anything in particular you're looking for?

    Nah, not much action going on there, they're just visiting an old relative and driving back.

    I was just looking for Midwest stuff, but they grabbed some Crooked Stave and some 3 Fonteinen.

    One of these days we'll (hopefully) cede Sioux City to Nebraska or South Dakota. Whichever will take it.
