There are two in ABQ, a downtown location and a West Side location. Also one in Santa Fe not far from the plaza. Downtown location has food trucks, live music and a bigger patio than the others, so it's the best I suppose.

Hi guys, great info so far. Thanks from another visitor!
I'm trying to score as much elevated, dank, and father Nelson as my car can carry (to help spread the good word to San Fran). It sounds like my best bet for the first two is going to the brewery? For father Nelson, is that something I'll have to trade for, or can I score that at cumbre or a good bottle shop?
Thanks from a former, proud Albuquerquean!

LCC, I believe Father Nelson was a one time only release (bottle date of 4/17/14) and basically sold out within a two week time frame. Scratch that off your list from an in town purchase.. At this time as a three month old DIPA, it may only be available via trade. I think it was sold only at the brewery so a bottle shop or beer store sighting is just not there. I heard it may be back later this year.. It also appears within a month or two they may be bottling Full Nelson, a 8.7% DIPA. Disclaimer: I read blogs, listen to people ramble at the brewery, and social media. So please correct me anyone if I am wrong.

I haven't seen any imposed limits on elevated or dank purchases just yet (AT ANY LOCATION). Call ahead of time and the brewery may be able to arrange a couple of cases that aren't refrigerated that are still in the case boxes.

Dank sells out but if you catch it near the release date ( essentially every two weeks ie 7/12 and 7/27 are the two most recent batches) you shouldn't have a problem scoring dozens or more.

    Best of luck

Thanks, man. That's super useful. I guess I'll keep my eyes peeled for full and father Nelson releases and work out a trade with someone (I'll be living in the Bay Area, so anyone should bm me if you have any favorites from there ).
Super psyched to try dank for the first time. I love elevated.
    Cheers.

Regarding Father Nelson, since you're a BA I'll hip you to some local insider info. @Oktoberfiesta Please don't skewer me for sharing this, and hey, if you weren't aware of it, now you will be: a bar named Anodyne downtown has a few straggler bottles of the Father Nelson. It's almost 4 months old, so keep that in mind, but there still should be one or two if you want it.

Mr. Fiesta covered everything else really well, as usual.

Thanks, guys. This was a huge help. Freed up a lot of time I would've spent scrambling (so that I could instead scramble for sadie's salsa and biscochitos).
Ended up just hitting the brewery (got a case of each to share with NoCal!). Was psyched Dank was on tap and in supply. Anything I should note about the 7/27 batch that's hugely different from others?
A great guy there actually told me about the Father Nelson stash at Anodyne, but I decided to pass in hopes of trying it fresh later. Word around the bar was that Full Nelson is a week or so away. Keep me in mind if you get some extras; I'll have some goodies to share.

Sorry you ended up at Sadie's. Haha. So many better places for New Mexican food. But yes, glad you scored some Dank and Elevated.

I know. I know. Sadie's is the nostalgic choice for me. Used to hit it up with my dad at the bowling alley location.
Cumbre was an awesome experience. Super chill. You guys are lucky.

LCC, Good stuff. You timed your trip right. Dank is usually sold out on draft sometime the week after it releases (sometimes that weekend of release). The same with bottles too. Being here the week of release helps.. The same will probably be said of Full Nelson.

On their blog they make notes about certain changes to dank from batch to batch. Sadly I didn't write them down in a spreadsheet, so by now some 15 or so batches in, it may take some time to read and see the differences. Have you had it before? If you have something to compare it to, go back on their blog and try to compare them.. From the latest 7/12 to 7/27, it appears to have gone up a notch in bitterness. Reviews online will also change drastically. I am surprised it has stayed as consistent as it has thus far
