I couldn't be happier to hear this. Good choice to expand on your awesome selection as well as your breweries. Cheers to the folks at stone for making this happen and catering to their consumers.

UHHHHHHAaaaaaaaHaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!! Never had the chance to try this, awesome.

Hopefully they do Nightman, Champion of the Sun, Master of Karate, and Friendship for Everyone collabs. That would be the greatest thing ever. TRADEMARKED EVEN THOUGH IT'S PROBABLY BEEN THOUGHT OF.

Awesome! Was hoping to read that Two Bros would be a pick-up option, damn . I bet they would crush this if that was the case, so many Chicago and surrounding area people would probably get on it. Having to get someone to mule and ship a 1.5 will cost more than the bottle itself.

wont be coming to your town by the way  you will have to pick it up from the brewery! which might be really awesome and convenient for you depending on where the east coast facility is!

God I wish I lived close to the brewery right now or had a connection. They are dropping bombs and I would be snatching them all up.

    Cool. I don't want 1.5 L of this though, so I'll pass.

Am I the only one not excited by this news?

I liked the original version and think the over hopped TIPA will drown out the beautiful coffee notes in the original which played off the original version's IPA base so well. Also, I don't want a goddamn 1.5L bottle! I came in hoping the announcement would be that they were adding it to 6-pack rotation or year round and am leaving completely disappointed. Fuck, ill still try it, but I want the original Dayman back and in 6-packs!!!

I covet Dayman on the regs, but travel to the brewery? 1.5L? And is that some sort of pre-buy, ferchrissakes?

Sorry, but that Troll Toll is too high. I agree with the t420o, 6-pack the original!

I third that, this is not what I wanted to hear. Most TIPAs are a sweet mess IMO, I don't know why they decided to change the original recipe. Of course, I'll still be curious to try this.

Doubt I'll get my hands on this but the original was excellent. One of the best aftertaste I've experienced. This would be hard to just buy one. Cellaring it would become something intriguingly bizarre.

Would "Troll Toll" be over the line?

Also, I want to like your post more than once.

Whenever they are done. But 2-3 years is sort of expected for most, maybe less for this. They have to build the brewery in Germany, then brew the beer, then get it back to the US, so it will be a while.

I wish I could do this up, but not even knowing where the east coast plant will be, much less what will be going on in my life 1-2 years makes getting out there seem to be a bit of pipe dream for me currently.:slight_frown:
