My money is on it being a blend, to keep costs down and add one more dimension to an already fantastic beer.

    It's a blend. I think I read 40% ba.

I'd love full ba, but that's greedy.

I'm not sure if I'll love the flavor combo or not, but I sure as hell want to try it!

I heard it's to be blended. X% BA darkness aged in whiskey barrels since Jan?, and X% BA darkness just now being put in whiskey barrels.

So with it being BA'd or partially BA'd will it not see any distro this time? After all, as soon as a beer hits distribution it loses 5 points on the strokeability and rarity scale.

Sorry if this was mentioned as I may have missed it

Todd said they are making 30K or more bottles. 6 bottle limit at the brewery. I highly doubt they expect 5000 people to show up and each buy their full allotment, but what the hell do I know?

    This should easily see distro.

They've always restricted sales at the brewery to something lower than the total bottles produced, they do run out of allotted bottles every year.

I am well aware of this... I have been at the last 5 darkness days (brag, right?). I was trying to make it easy to see that this will obviously and easily see distro. Hell, they might just send all the bottles to Chicago because all the MN BAs are going to whine about the price increase.
