I disagree . . . I definitely get a better concentrated aroma from a teku, have done side-by-sides with a snifter several times. But even if that weren't true, what's wrong with "being fancy?" There's a lot of (strange) things humans do for purely aesthetic reasons.

When standing and holding a beer, it must be in the left hand.

Almost always pour bottles into a glass.

Almost always drink directly from a can.

I know but this is one I just can't get on board with.

I, too, think pairing is overrated, but a good IPA with spicy Mexican food is a wonderful thing. As for a quirk, I always need to drink an even number of beers. I drink 2,4,6 beers...none of this 1,3,5 nonsense.

I don't like leaving my glass empty. If it's a smaller glass or I'm drinking a bomber by myself (happens more often than I'd like), before the glass empties I refill it. Just don't sit right if I don't.

My quirk is I won't but an IPA over a month old, people that work in the industry have a lot to be said about this. Everyone I drink beers with tells me I am right. Anyway it could of been glorious Dirtwolf, Two hearted we danced, Jai ali one time fling. Seriously the repeat buyer of IPA or IIPA is what quirks those who get paid to tell you what to drink.

I organize my beer bottles in the fridge from tallest to shortest, tallest being in the back corner, shortest being front and centre... and of course, labels facing forward.

I do that also. how is it our fault that a cool label catches our attention.

I don't like flights. I want a whole beer or none at all. Get out of here with your tiny glass nonsense.

but a quirk of mine is that I pour out beer from a bottle. But, I prefer to drink out of a can. go figure.

Same here. I hate drinking from a bottle, but rarely ever pour a canned craft beer into a glass. Cans just "work" for me.

I HATE it when somebody offers me a high-end craft brew by simply popping the cap and handing me the bottle without a glass, as if it were best enjoyed straight from bottle lip to body lip. I HATE it when a party host splurges for a high end 750 ml bottle of something novel and then spoils the occasion by pouring it into a round of red cups for his friends. I HATE it when my friends who can appreciate the subtleties of blending meritage wine varietals dismiss IPAs as "too bitter" without asking about the contents or the brewers' intentions.

I don't hate AALs, just don't like the style.

What I hate is when some BAs post that anyone should/could drink an AAL under certain circumstances, as if everyone really likes the style, but some won't drink them just because they want to be seen as better than that.

Very easy to do when one is left-handed.

For me it is removing bottle caps without putting a bend in them. Don't know why...I don't collect them.
