    Good morning Sunday beer explorers!

I hope this message finds you enjoying another fine Sunday morning complete with the excitement and anticipation that a new beer may bring to your weekend happenings.

Weather here in Central OH is nice and cool with lots of sun. I'm mid-boil with an American IPA and things are going famously. Should have a "new" homebrew in a couple of weeks. Trying out Citra hops for the first time as flavor and aroma additions so we'll see how that works out. This "new to me" beer won't be eligible for discussion on this thread but at least I'll have a better idea of what Citra can impart on some commercial examples (yeah, yeah...try SN Torpedo, I know...but SN beers all have a similar profile to me (which I love!) but I don't know how much it helps me understand specific hop profiles until I've tried it myself).

Enough yammering...we're here to talk about new COMMERCIAL beers! This is the day and this is the thread to do it!

Please share your new beers that you've sampled today and post your pics, links to your reviews, and otherwise witty banter about a new beer that you've sampled today. Friendly PSA: Please no "what's in my fridge" or "here's what I'm drinking after I clean the gutters" posts here. We want the low down skinny on something that's actually warmed your gullet today.

Now get out there and get those "honey do's" done so you can tell us about some great new beers!

Thanks for keeping NBS fresh, informative, and fun.

    Peace, love, and malty-ness,

    Matt

No "honey do's" for this cat so that is why I can drink a beer before noon. Went for a nice walk this morning and got my work done early. My beer today was a bit of letdown. Maybe I scored it a little harshly but I was expecting a little more of a coffee beer.

Greeetings NB'ers. A gorgeous day here on the ridge in Mid Hud Val NY, but clouds seem to be moving in, and I am about to get to my honeydew list, starting with plumbing, my least favorite activity, ugghh. Luckily I have a fridge full of this great beer courtesy of Ba Evan from a hockey bet. Hope you all are enjoying some fine American beer today. Cheers!

I'll get back to ya's with my thoughts.

    Cheers!

Had Infinium for the first time last night, best for July 2012. Meh... Wasn't crazy about it. Like sweet, sour tart thick sparkling white wine, with a strange flavor I can't quite describe.

I'm liking this post because you liked the beer. I'll probably never see it in Casper. :slight_frown:

Do you not get any Oskar Blues or just Deviant Dales?

I think I'd be more cut up about not getting Dales than Deviant, personally, if its an overall lack of OB products there. Deviant is a very nice beer but I wouldn't lose any sleep if I couldn't get more. Dales on the other hand...

I get plenty of Dales and Mama's LYP, and Ten Fidy...Gubna. None of the others. We used to get Gordons before the name change.

    Happy NBS to all...

What started out as a beautiful day here on Long Island now has bits of a storm blowing through. A little rain every now and then. The temperature has dropped from the mid 70's to the mid 60's over the past 90 minutes.

I painted some of the patio furniture earlier in the day and it's in the garage to keep out of the weather until the paint is completely dry.

My wife went and picked me up a growler of this beer while I was working...

Well that sucks. I'm sure they can get Deviant if they got access to all those others. We got plenty of it here in mass....

Gunna pop that SN Harvest open after dinner. I'll get back to you on that one (tho I dont think I will be disappointed)

First time having this tasty treat. This is honestly the first beer I've had that made me say "wow!" out loud after the first sip, I actually felt like my taste buds were popping open. I've had Pliny, Palate Wrecker, Ruination, and Hop Venom. Not saying Double Trouble is better than any of those brews, but it's damn incredible. I've had breakfast stout, KBS, and a few other Founders beers, but I think this might be my new favorite from them, so good!!!
