    Fighting off a cold that my kids have had for a while; finally getting to me. I feel like ass. I will fight it...with beer! (I personally choose to believe that beer helps me get over a cold. If I happen to be wrong, then at least I still drank beer!)

    Just picked up a bottle of MBC King Titus. Not the freshest - 4 months old - but it's a delicious porter, one of my favorites.

    Granted, when it comes to porters, they're all - King Titus included - staring up at HF Everett in awe, silently mouthing "How the ffffff....." That beer is just miles ahead of any other porter I've ever had. But King Titus - maybe my favorite MBC brew, despite them being so well known for hops - is a damn good porter. Finishing second (however distant) is no shame.

    Switching it up between the (relatively) calm...


    I really do hope they record together again. Plus, I'd kill to see them live.

    ...and the unrestrainedly aggressive...
