Did you console yourself with a Tilquin?

    Yes, sir!

A couple of people from my regular tasting group & my wife may join us. And @Abbbp said he was going to text you, because he is in the area and I let him know we were headed over.

Great. He texted me this morning and said he wouldn't be able to make it. I'll be with my girlfriend who's also big into beer. Look for a guy with a fairly large beard and a girl with a nice tan and curly dark hair.

You've never been to Tired Hands, then. Half the clientele, including me, have fairly large beards. :stuck_out_tongue:

I'll send you my cell# in the BM. You can text me when you get there.

I've tried to get Lawson's via trade a couple times and it never amounted to anything. Their IPAs are definitely a want. The drug dealer line is perfect. I had a growler of Abner from HF and all I want is more more more.

I don't have a beard but I would love to be going to Tired Hands. It's odd because I have never had a beer from them or from Treehouse but for some reason I feel like I have and that they are awesome.

Well, they certainly are awesome. Whenever my 'timeout' ends, I'll try to remember to hit you up with a growler (TH that is, if it wasn't obvious) ... unfortunately for you, my timeout is predicated upon taking a good long break from trading/BIFs and I keep finding reasons that I have to send out one more box, do one more trade...

I think we may be able to fix that issue in the foreseeable future.

it really never ends once you get going. I may have to make some hard choices about BIF participation for a while. starting to take the CPA this fall and beer drinking is going to be severely reduced.

So will the CPA exam be significantly harder than figuring out senders and targets? I figure beers = credits, shipping costs = debits, and the rest goes from there...

@Lehighace06 we will just have to start hitting your wife's wants for a while and that'll earn some damn good karma.

hah, it may actually be easier the way some people give clues. I might be a little crazy as I'm mid 30s and sitting for the CPA now, but I've got years of corporate finance and accounting experience and just want another notch on the belt/fallback options for my corporate career.

Those include New Glarus Apple Ale (and their fruit beers), Pumking, and Allagash White. The latter two I keep in good supply on my own.

There are a few other things here or there that she has enjoyed (or 'not hated'), but for the most part I'm just getting her out of being a Blue Moon kinda girl... Examples include All Day IPA and Cantillon Classic Gueuze, so go figure...

Whoever gets @Lehighace06 as their target in Round 3, make sure to send something that will appease the Mrs. We need to get in her good graces so Kevin can stay out past curfew and trade more. We've got your back buddy.

Trying to set up a trade with @Tee2Grn for some Lawson's as well. I'll have 3-4 bottles left if someone else wants a trade. Stouts, old ales, and american strong ales preferred.

I was trying not to trade just like @Lehighace06 but then This fell into my lap. Now I'm really not trading for a while. Haha
