I agree that BA BS is a notch up from Backwoods (love em both) but this year's price point of BA BS made me pass it up. I decided to trade for Wulver which is just as good as BA BS if not better (had them side by side). Wulver $7 per 12 oz bottle and its easy to trade for because it is still on the shelf in OH. $28 for 48 oz of Wulver vs $28 for 22 of BA BS?

 

I'm also a big fan of Wulver. I trade for it and normally would agree with it being as good as or better than BA Big Sound. But not this year. BA Big Sound is at it's best in 2014.

Thanks. Seems price is from $23-$35 also? Have a line on one for $30. Seems pricy but from reviews on here and untapped it's got mainly positives and a lot of great things only hit seems to be a tad low carb but I'd expect that. Anybody have it care to comment on the carb issue, does it detract a lot from the beer? Seems like a small knock and one that only would mess with mouthfeel so long as it's not totally flat.

 

carb was not an issue for me. the beer was definitely not flat and tasted fantastic when we popped one about a week after it came out. price here was $28 with tax, so $30 isn't too bad i'd say.
